TriPython November 2013 Meeting: CherryPy / Open Science Framework

Details
Note that this is a third Thursday meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday. To get full and timely notifications of all TriPython events and discussions, subscribe to the TriPython email list at http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/trizpug . Full information about TriPython is available on the website at http://tripython.org . Joseph Tate (http://palemountain.com/), local Python consultant extraordinaire, will introduce us to the inner workings of CherryPy (http://www.cherrypy.org/), one of the most robust Python web frameworks. The Center for Open Science (http://centerforopenscience.org/) will also give a lightning talk about the Open Science Framework (http://openscienceframework.org/) built from Flask (http://flask.pocoo.org/). Extemporaneous "lightning talks" of 5-10 minute duration are also welcome and don't need to be pre-announced. Plenty of free after hours parking is available in the upper level of the deck behind WebAssign (turn through the median just before the intersection of Varsity and Main Campus Drives). If the door is locked, call the number listed here. An after-meeting location for food and beverage will be decided at the meeting (usually BaDa Wings for the Thursday night draught specials).
