Sesshin A morning of meditation, silence, and collective practice
Details
What will we do?
As you arrive, the first invitation is to disconnect in order to reconnect: we leave our mobile phones switched off and the noise of the world outside. We invite you to set aside distractions and everyday noise so we can immerse ourselves in three consecutive meditation sessions.
This is not a class for learning, but a space for being. We will make use of the shared silence to support one another in the effort of mindful awareness.
Sesshin Format:
Silence as the Guide: The meditations will not be verbally guided. They will be marked solely by the sound of the bell at each stage.
Mindful Rhythm: Between each session, we will take short periods of mindful pauses (brief breaks).
Vibrational Closing: We will end the morning by joining our voices in a mantra, sealing the energy that has been generated.
There will be an opportunity to have coffee together afterwards.
.
💡 Requirement: To maintain the flow of the session, this activity is intended for people with prior experience in Triratna meditations (Metta Bhavana and Mindfulness of Breathing), and who are able to meditate without external guidance.
This activity operates on a donation basis.
