The brisk Blue waters of Round Valley Reservoir attract paddlers

We will Paddle in the beautiful Round Valley Reservoir in Clinton Township, New Jersey, and hang around for the Sunset and the full moon. It is a beautiful and serene reservoir which is best known for its pristine clear Blue waters.

Paddle Starts @ 5:00 PM if you need to inflate your SUP or set up your SUP/Kayak in the water please arrive before.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THIS EVENT, YOU MUST BRING A HEADLAMP, WHISTLE, WEAR A LIFE JACKET, AND THE USE OF THE LEASH FOR SUP. THE LAST TWO ARE MANDATORY.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO NEVER PADDLE BOARDED OR KAYAKED BEFORE. AS WE ARE PADDLING AT NIGHT.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT ROUND VALLEY RESERVOIR REQUIRES A BOAT RAMP PERMITS FOR SUP/KAYAK.

5. Something to share: Food & drinks (water, soda).
6. A cooler with cold drinks especially water.
7. Whistle
8. Chair.
9. HEADLAMP (MANDATORY)

NOTE: You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. You should review topographic maps, and route features carefully; have confidence in your swimming and self-rescue ability, and know where you are, where you're going, and how to get back. This is not a guided trip. In keeping with club philosophy, this is your adventure, organizers organize the event but are not tour guides or trip leaders. Even if you rent a SUP/Kayak, you assume full responsibility for your preparedness, welfare, and well-being.

This is a calm paddling trip, but as with all SUP/kayaking trips, there is a risk that your board/boat could capsize and you could get wet. Be prepared with a set of dry clothes in the car in case this happens to you.
