Camping-Hike Katadhin via Cathedral-Whitewater Rafting Class III-V.

August 9th, I'll see you all at the Campground at 4:00 PM.
I created a WhatsApp chat for more info and coordination of this amazing and unique trip.
All participants will be placed on the waitlist.
The total per person is $214, this included ONLY the campsite spot and rafting.
If you change plans, there are NO refunds, but you can get someone else to take your place.
Camping fees are $ 66 PER PERSON
Katahdin is no joke. You could be hiking around 3 miles with an elevation gain on average of 4,000 feet in most exposed conditions. It's rocky, strenuous, and extremely difficult. Not something you should take lightly, otherwise you put yourself at risk of serious injury.

THE HIKE:
Day One: We can save this hike for the day with the best weather and clear skies, we want to enjoy the views. Approx 8.3 Miles. Roaring Brook Campground - Chimney Pond Trail - Cathedral Trail - Baxter Peak - Knife Edge -Helen Taylor Trail - Roaring Brook Campground.
Day Two: Katadhin Stream Campground – The Owl - Katadhin Stream Campground. Approx 4.8 miles. As the closest mountain on the western side of Katahdin, The Owl has a front-row seat to the best show in Maine’s Baxter State Park. And yet, The Owl Trail hike is often overlooked or “saved for another day” by those looking to bask in the glory of Katahdin.
Day Three:
WHITE WATER RAFTING:
THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE (GUIDED)
Price: $148 PER PERSON.
Check-In – 8:30 am, we should leave the campground by 8 am.
The Ultimate Adventure Trip travels the upper Portion of the river – class I to V rapids.
Riverside cookout lunch (chicken, steak, fish, or vegetarian) the trip moves to the Upper River taking on Class IV -V rapids in the afternoon. The Upper River is an exciting and raucous waterway that possesses a stretch which drops 70 feet per mile through a narrow, granite-walled canyon into Class V whitewater.
