Blockheim 2024 - Trondheim Open Blockchain Meetup

Get ready for the ultimate Blockchain event at the next Open Trondheim Blockchain Meetup. We're here to satisfy the curiosity of both beginners and experienced blockchain fans with a range of topics from local blockchain pros. This event is a great chance to connect with the blockchain scene in Trondheim and catch up on the latest blockchain developments. Please register for attendance if you want to participate. The event is free and powered by the research unit for Information Systems and Software Engineering at NTNU, and the program will be in English to satisfy our diverse community.

Venue:
The event will be held in Kjøpmannsgata ung kunst, downstairs in the middle of the exhibition "Mellom rom" by H.M. Dronning Sonja and Håvard Homstvedt. We will serve some refreshments and finger food to the attendees.

Speakers:

• Morten Myrstad: Exploring Web3, The Metaverse and The Next Generation Internet. Founder of @kaupr, Unleash by Kaupr & @TheNewCompany
• Peter Oyinloye Damilare: A Postdoctoral Fellow at NTNU. He bagged a PhD in Computer Science from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2022. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA and Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, under the global enterprise experience program. He is a member of the British Computer Society (BCS), Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN), Internet Society (global), African Blockchain Council and Malaysia Blockchain Society.
• Halvor Bakke Veiby: Co-founder and CEO of space debris cleanup startup Solstorm, last year named one of the World's most exciting private space companies alongside SpaceX, Blue Origin and others.
