5 Mile Hike Through Halpatiokee Park

We’ll meet at Trailhead Pavilion 7 at 8:45 AM and depart at 9:00 AM. The hike will follow the FTA River Trail to the picnic area, loop around the southernmost lake, return to the picnic area, and then head back up the river trail to Trailhead Pavilion 7.

The weather will most likely be sunny and hot, so please come prepared!

Essential items to bring:

1. Plenty of water or electrolyte drinks (hydration is critical)
2. Snacks (optional)
3. Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
4. Closed-toe shoes (required)
5. Insect repellent (highly recommended)
