🌊 THE TWO WATERS – Afro-Cuban Body Movement 🌊

πŸ•’ 7:00–8:30 PM | 90 min
πŸ“ The Station, Bristol
πŸ“† THURSDAY. 15/JAN- 29/JAN
I’m very happy to announce the next dates of my new two-class Afro-Cuban course: THE TWO WATERS.

These classes are inspired by Yemaya, mother of the seas, and Oshun, mother of rivers and fresh waters.
Through this course, we will explore Afro-Cuban body movement and technique and understand its importance for Cuban and Latin social dance styles.

✨ One class dedicated to Yemaya & one class dedicated to Oshun
In each class, we will learn fundamental steps, explore the essence of each movement, and break down body isolations to better understand Afro-Cuban technique.

In the second part of each class, we will apply this movement to traditional Cuban social dances such as Son Cubano, ChachachΓ‘, and others, helping dancers connect Afro-Cuban dance with social dancing in a natural and authentic way.
