Boardman and Platte River Kayak and Campout

Paddle and camp out this summer by the Boardman and Platte rivers near Traverse City. We'll meet Friday July 18th by 11 pm and camp at the rustic Scheck's Place State Forest Campground on the Boardman River.
The next day we'll spot cars and then kayak approx. 6 hours on the Boardman river. Afterword we'll head to Interlochen State Park to camp out and enjoy a potluck. On Sunday July 20th, we'll head to the Upper Platte River and kayak approx. 3 hours and then head out. Optional lunch in Traverse City. Please have all kayaking gear, including a PFD. (Rentals may be available in the area).
