Andesite Peak Snowshoe

Now that there's more snow on the ground, let's take advantage of it. This is a short hike/snowshoe with great views from the top. Park across I-80, along the frontage road next to Boreal ski area and walk under the freeway to the trailhead. You will need a snow park pass to park there and cannot buy them on site. They're available online and at Mountain Hardware in Truckee. If anyone wants to meet in Truckee to carpool and save buying a snow park pass, let me know in the comments.
