Johnson Canyon snowshoe/hike

Let's start the new year off right, communing with Mother Nature! If there's enough snow, we'll strap on our snowshoes. If not, we'll turn it into a hike. Plan A is to head up the slope toward Tahoe Donner and reach the top of Sunrise Bowl, but there are a few options in this canyon, and we'll go where there's snow. If there's not enough snow anywhere, we'll take the trail to follow through on plan A. If anyone wants to meet in town and caravan up, let me know in the comments.

elevation gain: about 1,200 feet
distance: about 3 miles
time: depends on the pace of the group (probably about 3-4 hours)
