What we’re about
We are people looking to enjoy great camaraderie and fellowship in a positive atmosphere while enjoying hiking, mountain biking, cross country and alpine skiing, snowshoeing, and other adventures outdoors. We will find joy in sharing time together, and in celebrating God’s incredible creation.
Please be aware that Dogs are not permitted on our outings, except for Sagehen Meadows/Creek Hike.
Please be aware that mountain and outdoor activities carry inherent risk. None of us helping to lead these outings are professional guides. All attendance is completely AT YOUR OWN RISK. That being said, Blair has helped lead outings for more than 30 years, with no significant injuries on any of over 300 plus outings. Please come prepared, including with basic first aid kit, a good pack, plenty of fluids, plenty of food, headlamp (for emergencies), fire starter, whistle, analgesics, good hat, sunscreen and lip balm, sunglasses, a good jacket/shell, extra clothes and boots/shoes that are broken in. Consider a map and compass, too. A cell phone with a hiking app is a plus. Our favorite is Gaia GPS (does have an annual fee, works without cellular service!). Bring a backup battery to charge your cell phone again, in case of emergencies.
It will be great to have you join us!
