The killings at White House Farm happened overnight on 6–7 August 1985, at a rural property near Tolleshunt D’Arcy in Essex.

Inside the farmhouse, Nevill and June Bamber were shot dead, along with their adopted daughter, Sheila Caffell, and her six-year-old twin boys, Daniel and Nicholas.

The only person in the immediate family to survive was Jeremy Bamber, who was 24 at the time. He later said he was at his own home a few miles away when the shootings occurred.
