On 2 July 1966, three women, Ann Miller, Renee Bruhl, and Patricia Blough, disappeared while walking along the shore at Indiana Dunes State Park, Indiana.

Their towels and belongings were found abandoned on the beach. Witnesses reported seeing them speaking to a man and possibly boarding a boat. Despite extensive searches, no bodies or definitive evidence were recovered.

The case remains unsolved, with theories ranging from accidental drowning to abduction or other criminal involvement.
