Our First Meeting!

Hey y'all!

Welcome to the True Religion Book Club. I'm excited to announce our first meeting on Sunday, October 5th at Yeti Frozen Yogurt and Cafe at Westcott Street. The meeting will start at 5:00 PM.

Our first book in this club will be Douglas E. Harding's Religions of the World: A handbook for the open-minded, a fitting book since it captures the essence of this cub. The book is unfortunately scarce is a hardcopy form. However, you can purchase a Kindle (in practice, an online version if you don't have Kindle) copy for less than $10 at this link. In this meeting, we will get to know each other and share our personal experiences with spirituality. I will prepare discussion prompts and facilitate the discussion throughout. Please read Chapter 1: Why study Religion as it is relevant for our discussion as well.
