I opened up this space with the intention that it is for people who don't fit societal norms. Shunned are those who don't fit the box that society has set for us.
I am a Taino indigenous descendant. I was a software engineer shifting gears, and now I'm a psychology major. My dream is to study consciousness and be part of important life-changing conversations, while also understanding the lack of diversity within the field. I am working on a rigouruse trauma informed breathwork facilitation and am signed up to begin learning Reiki in July. A mother of two with 2 dogs and enjoy being next to any bodies of water. I say I was probably a mermaid in another life! (Jokes) I have always been someone who asks too many questions and have always felt like the black sheep growing up. That has led me to grow with so much compassion for humanity, but especially for marginalized communities.
