Wat kan je verwachten?
In een kleine groep van max. 20 deelnemers oefenen we Authentic Relating Games, sociale spelletjes die ons de mogelijkheid geven onze menselijke kwetsbaarheid te delen in een ondersteunende omgeving.
De spelletjes draaien vooral rond vertragen, luisteren, en zich uiten vanuit het hart.
Hier zijn een paar dingen die we op een speelse manier zullen oefenen:
- Nieuwsgierig worden en minder oordelen over onszelf en anderen 😯
- Bewuster worden van wat er op dit moment met ons gebeurt 👁
- Onthullen wat er met ons gebeurt 🦸
- Nee zeggen, onze grenzen en voorkeuren aangeven 🙅♀️
- Diep luisteren (en gehoord worden) 👂
Wat we samen creëren:
Een plek om gevoed te worden door het samen zijn, zonder dat er een masker op hoeft 🥸
Een plek om diepe vriendschappen op te bouwen 👯
Een plek om authenticiteit te oefenen, en te durven zeggen wat er op ons hart ligt 🙊
Oh, en even voor de duidelijkheid: dit is GEEN dating-event.
Sparks kunnen natuurlijk gebeuren, maar we zijn hier vooral om zelfkennis te vergaren en momenten van verbinding te ervaren, zonder veronderstellingen 🤗
Programma & locatie
De locatie is in Gent. Het exacte adres wordt bekendgemaakt aan tickethouders.
14.30 uur: Deuren gaan open
14.45 uur: We beginnen met de eerste spelletjes
16.00 uur: 15 min snack pauze
17.30 uur: Afsluiten spelletjes en nagenieten 😊
Wat neem je mee?
Je gehele zelf, in kleding waar je je comfortabel in voelt 😊
Er zijn snacks beschikbaar 🍫 Je kan ook gerust iets meenemen, dan maken we er een potluck van :)
Prijzen en financiële inclusie
De standaardprijs is 12 euro.
Dit kan je betalen op het luma platform of in cash op de dag zelf.
In ieder geval is het wel belangrijk te registreren!

Waarom is dit betalend, en waarom moet ik registreren?
Het organiseren van deze evenementen voedt mijn hart, maar het kost mij ook geld, tijd en moeite om alles op zijn pootjes te zetten.
Ik hoop deze ruimtes wekelijks te kunnen aanbieden, zodat een stabiele gemeenschap van mensen die meer verbinding en authenticiteit zoeken zich kan opbouwen :) Dit zou ik niet duurzaam kunnen houden zonder deze financiële ondersteuning.
Het registratieproces is een soort zelf-filtering, als iemand de tijd niet wilt nemen om een aantal vraagjes eerlijk te beantwoorden, is het misschien niet een goeie moment voor hen om deel te nemen in dit speelveld van authenticiteit en vertraging.
Over mij
Mijn naam is Abbygaelle. Ik ben 31, en ontdekte authentic relating games ongeveer 8 jaar geleden toen ik in San Francisco woonde. Een goede vriend raadde me een spelletjesavond aan, omdat hij merkte hoe verlegen ik was 🙈
Ik was zenuwachtig, maar het concept leek me intrigerend genoeg, dus ik probeerde het. Ik was onder de indruk van de eenvoud en diepgaande effecten van de oefeningen… en -misschien nog meer- van de onderlinge steun en toestemming die ik in deze subculturen ervaarde.
Echt ontroerend vond ik het, zoveel barrières smelten als ijs in de zon als eerlijkheid en verantwoordelijkheid de norm is.. Ik bleef me hierna verdiepen in AR en andere relationele praktijken zoals NVC, Circling, Contact Improv, IFS...
Het besef dat we samen oefenplekken voor authenticiteit kunnen creëren was een enorm krachtig inzicht voor me.
Want ik weet niet hoe jij het ervaart, maar ik denk dat onszelf tonen in de wereld vaak onmogelijk, angstaanjagend of als een zekere weg naar uitsluiting kan aanvoelen!
In 2018 besloot ik al snel workshops te organiseren voor mijn vrienden, en uiteindelijk begon ik deze inspirerende praktijken te delen overal waar het leven me leidde. Sindsdien heb ik workshops en spel-avonden georganiseerd in de VS, Ecuador, Australië, Portugal en nu ook in mijn thuisland België :)

Let's pass on the small talk, and get more present 🎁
In a small group of max. 20 participants, we'll break the ice and connect in a deeper, more present way than we might be used to.
Imagine something between fun social games 🎈 and relational meditation 🧘
Some games are playful and silly, while others go deeper.
We create a warm, supportive environment where we all get to:
- Expand out of our comfort zone 🌟
- Build deep friendships 👯
- Practice becoming more authentic, curious, and empowered
And just to be clear, this is NOT a dating event 🙅♀️
For this intro, I will guide you a lot, so if you're a bit nervous, don't worry, we got you! 🐣
Here's some of the basic principles of Authentic Relating, that we'll get to know during this event:

Schedule & location
The location is a cosy space in Ghent. The exact address will be revealed to ticket holders.
2.30 pm: Doors open
2.45 pm: First games start
4.00 pm: Break time with snacks
4.15 pm: Deepening games
5.30 pm: Finish and post-event hang-out time :)
What to bring?
Yourself, in clothes that make you feel comfy 😊
There will be some snacks available 🍫 You’re very welcome to bring something too, so we can make it a potluck!

The standard price is €12.

Why is this a paid event, and why do I have to register?
Organizing these events feeds my heart, but it also costs me quite some time, money and effort to get everything up and running.
I hope to offer these spaces on a weekly basis, so that a stable community of people seeking more connection and authenticity can emerge :)
I couldn't keep this sustainable without financial support.
The registration process is a kind of self-filtering process. If someone can't take some time to honestly answer a few questions, it might not be the right moment for them to participate in this playground of authenticity and presence.
About me
My name is Abbygaelle. I’m 31 and became aware of Authentic Relating games about 8 years ago while living in San Francisco. A game night was recommended to me by a close friend, as he was noticing how shy I was to connect with people 🙈
I was nervous, but the concept seemed intriguing enough, so I gave it a go. I was so impressed by the simplicity and the profound effects of the exercises!
Understanding that humans could create little practice grounds for authenticity together, was such a powerful insight for me!
Because let’s be honest, showing ourselves fully out in the world can feel impossible, terrifying, and counter-productive a lot of the time!
I was moved deeply by a whole subculture built around authentic expression, and kept deepening into AR and other relational practices such as NVC, Circling, Contact Improv, IFS…
So I quickly decided to organize AR workshops for my friends, way back in 2018, and eventually I was spreading these beautiful practices wherever life would take me. Since then I’ve facilitated workshops and curated game nights for various intentional communities and families in the US, South America, Australia, Portugal, and now in my home country of Belgium :)
