FANCY GIVING A NEW SPORT A GO?

If you want to try and get a bit fitter, or just fancy giving a new sport a go, then we have the sport for you; KORFBALL! We are looking new players and no previous experience is required.

BUT WHAT EVEN IS KORFBALL?

Korfball is a fast paced mixed-gender ball sport, similar to Basketball or Netball. In fact it roughly translates to 'basketball' in Dutch. Teams are made up of 4 boys and 4 girls who work together to outscore the opposition. It's a very inclusive game and lots of fun!

The first 2 sessions are free so you can get a feel for the sport and our club, so there is no excuse not to come along and give it a try. All you need is your sports kit, trainers and bottle of water.

In addition to playing korfball our club is very sociable, we meet up regularly off the court for socials or in smaller groups for games nights, quizzes, meals out, sporting events like rugby games and ice hockey, nights out, mini golf and more.

We train every Tuesday night at John Frost School in Newport at 6pm. So no matter how many people sign up on here we'll always be there

It's also worth checking us out on Instagram or Facebook, just search for 'Newport Centurions'
