Build an API for your front end game engine! Together we will use server-side Swift to build a back-end that logs a player in, stores individual & high scores, and delivers in-game news.
Jonathon Guthrie (Jono) has been developing server side applications for nearly 20 years, with a number of different languages. Moved to Canada from New Zealand in 2010 to help architect the next generation of server side development, he’s now part of the Perfect team bringing Swift to the server. In his spare time he’s a session musician, sound engineer, gamer, and loves writing API’s for all sorts of obscure things.
This meetup will be in-person and broadcasted live on youtube. More info about the broadcast will released as we get closer to the date.
