rough timetable:
9:30 am Leave from Hana World Market.
10:00 am Meet anyone coming from S of 183 at Southpark Meadows.

11:00 am Arrive at M.Y. Chockdee (Universal City) for huge Filipino cafeteria-style (incl soups, stews, vegetables, steamed jumbo shrimp, noodles, desserts) AYCE lunch.

By 1 pm, head into San Antonio.
[dim sum, incl. fun guo; steamed fish fillet at Golden Wok?]
[carne guisada at Mi Celayence?]
[adobo, dinuguan, pinakbet, sinigang at Sari-Sari?]

1:30 pm one activity or mini-tour:
SA Museum of Art (respectable Asian art collection)
SA Zoo (pretty decent)
Institute of Texan Cultures (exhibits chronicling ethnic groups in TX); Tower of Americas is nearby.
Market Square (Mexican-style market)
Riverwalk, incl La Villita

5:30 pm Dinner at Schilo's (SA's oldest restaurant; serves solid German-Texan fare, incl excellent split-pea soup, sandwiches, potato pancakes, and house-made root beer!) near the Riverwalk.

7:00 pm Head back to Austin (possible stop at Bucee's in New Braunfels!).

9:00 pm Return to Southpark Meadows.
9:30 pm Return to Hana World Market.
