What we’re about

Most volleyball events are set up to play sand doubles.
This group is geared for intermediate level doubles players who want to improve their skills. We emphasize 3 touches on the ball (bump, set, spike) and discourage sending it over on the 1st or 2nd touches. Coming into the group, you should already have good passing skills, be able to cover your side of the court, and know the rules of sand doubles play. Hitting, setting, stamina and placement are some things people can work on in this group. However, you must commit to 2 hours of play. Since we are a small group late cancellations and those who no show will be removed from the group.
***It is imperative that if you sign up, you commit to play since no shows can affect whether or not the others can play. The following are the rules to follow for RSVPs:
-If you RSVP ‘yes’ then please be sure to be there on time and that you can commit to at least 2 hours of play.
-No walk ons will be allowed. Being in the waitlist does Not mean you can show up.
-If your plans change please be sure to update your RSVP as soon as possible.
-Two no shows or late cancellations will result in being removed from the group.

There is a $10 semi annual membership fee. You can use the following ways to pay: pay on the Meetup, Venmo @Jasmin-CDaniels, Cash App $jasmin3890 or bring cash to the Meetup and give to me.
Membership may be initially provisional to confirm overall fundamental volleyball skills for doubles.
