Walk Hike at Patapsco

Meet at the Avalon Playground area, and Walk/ Hike. When we meet at the playground, we can decide how long we want to walk. Some things that would be fun to see are: the Swinging Bridge, Cascade Falls and Bloedes Dam.

On weekends, the Patapsco State Park entrance fee is $3 per person. Or $75 seasonal per car, good for all state parks.

Directions once you enter the park

The address (5120 South Street, Baltimore, MD 21227) gets you to the park entrance. After turning in the park entrance, please pay the $3 entrance fee at the booth. Continue straight ahead (for about 1.5 miles) and when you reach the intersection, take a left (there is not an option to go forward, you can only turn left or right). Follow the road (about 100 yards) until you pass a large colorful children's playground on your right. There is a parking lot at the playground. Call me with any questions 301-606-7169 Rachel Swift.
