For four decades, the annual Philadelphia mid-winter bird census has highlighted the remarkable diversity of habitats and species within our city limits. Be a part of the Philadelphia Mid-Winter Bird Census in Tacony Creek Park and contribute to community science!
Join Robin Irizarry (Liberty Bird Alliance & Audubon Mid-Atlantic) and friends for the 4-mile walk starting from I St & Ramona Ave Gateway to Cheltenham Ave & Crescentville Rd Gateway.
Things to Note:

  • This event is FREE, and all levels are welcome.
  • Binoculars available
  • Most of the walk will take place on a fully paved trail, while other sections will be off-trail on dirt, sloped, and uneven terrain.
  • There are no restrooms in the park.
