“The Ballad of Wallis Island”

This 2025 British comedy is based on a 2007 short film, “The One and Only Herb McGwyer Plays Wallis Island.” It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this past January, followed by a limited U.S. theatrical release. It received critical acclaim and scored 97% and 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie starts at 5, seating starts at 4:30. We’ll meet in the lobby/coffee shop area to say hi and grab a cup of joe before finding a seat. Afterward, for those desiring, we can walk to a nearby restaurant to eat and chat about the movie.
