Streaming Night: All We Imagine as Light

Details
The light, the lives, and the textures of contemporary, working-class Mumbai are explored and celebrated by writer/director Payal Kapadia, who won the Grand Prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival for her revelatory fiction feature debut. Centering on two roommates who also work together in a city hospital--head nurse Prabha (Kani Kusruti) and recent hire Anu (Divya Prabha)--plus their coworker, cook Parvaty (Chhaya Kadam), Kapadia's film alights on moments of connection and heartache, hope and disappointment.
It's time for another potluck in-home streaming night. The location is in Chapel Hill, somewhat near the Chelsea, and I'll send directions to "Yes" RSVPs close to the date. There are some people who don't get the organizer emails, so, if you haven't gotten directions by the Thursday before, please message me through Meetup and I'll send them to you directly.
I still have an unopened bottle of red wine from an earlier event, and I'll also have sparkling and regular water. As for food, let me suggest posting what you're thinking of bringing in the comments, but only if it's convenient. It's totally cool to pick up something random on the way in.
As always with these in-home events, space is limited, so please treat your RSVP as a commitment. You can bring a guest, but, if you are on the wait list, you should each sign up separately. If one person drops out, then the first singleton gets accepted off the waiting list, so pairs get skipped over.
Looking forward to seeing folks!
