“The Life of Chuck”

“From the hearts and minds of Stephen King and Mike Flanagan this is the extraordinary story of an ordinary man. This genre-bending tale celebrates the life of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz (Tom Hiddleston) as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us.”

This story is from one of King’s novellas and looks interesting. Critics have used words such as “buoyant, unique, philosophical, powerful, fantastical, apocalyptic.” I think there will be much to discuss about this one, which we’ll do over dinner after the movie for those interested.

The movie starts at 3, seating starts at 2:30. We’ll meet in the lobby/coffee shop area to say hi and grab a cup of joe before finding a seat. Please note: This is a relaxed, film-as-a-mutual-interest group, not a “find-a-date” event. Thank you for being mindful of that.
