“Sorry, Baby” at Cary Theater

“Something bad happened to Agnes, but life goes on … for everyone around her, at least.”

Writer-director-star Eva Victor, who had a triumphant Sundance debut, plays Agnes, a young professor at a New England grad school who struggles to return to normalcy in the wake of a traumatic event. Naomi Ackie and Lucas Hedges round out the cast as Agnes’ ride-or-die bestie and the genuinely sweet boy next door who help her pick up the pieces.
