Apocalypse now

Details
Apocalypse Now isn’t just a war film—it’s a hallucinatory journey down the river into the heart of madness (with a generous budget for helicopters and napalm). We follow Captain Willard (Martin Sheen), who’s sent on a mission to find the rogue Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando), a man who has gone full god-king in the Cambodian jungle. Along the way, we get surfing generals, haunting monologues, a soundtrack that alternates between Wagner and The Doors, and some of the most surreal sequences ever put on screen.
It’s equal parts chaos, poetry, and fever dream. You’ll leave wondering whether the real apocalypse is war itself… Either way, it is unforgettable.
I expect this may get sold out, so I will buy my ticket ahead of time. Movie starts at 1:00, so let us meet at 12:45.
If it is not too early after the film, we can go for dinner at Lucha Tigre.
