One Battle After Another

Bob is a washed-up revolutionary who lives in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited and self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces and Willa goes missing, the former radical scrambles to find her as both father and daughter battle the consequences of their pasts.

Honestly, I don't think this blurb is doing this movie any favors. But there's this: The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti in her film debut. Also the reviews are really good. I started to paste in the first paragraph of the NYT review but I didn't want to set expectations too high.

Showtime is 5:00 for this 2-hour 41-minute movie, and afterwards it should still not be too late for dinner at Neomonde. I look forward to seeing you there!
