Oscar Viewing Party

It's time once again for our annual Oscar party. We'll gather half an hour before it starts, pour drinks, get food, and sit down to watch.

As in years past, it's a potluck. Feel free to bring entrees, snacks, desserts, drinks, whatever. If you know in advance what you want to bring then it's great to let people know in the comments, but there's no shame in picking up something on the way in.

The location is in Chapel Hill, kind of near I-40 and US-86. I will send directions to Yes RSVPs the Wednesday before. Meetup has gotten flaky with member emails, so, if you don't get the directions by Thursday afternoon, please message me and I'll send them to you.

As always when it's at someone's house, space is limited, so please treat your RSVP as a commitment. If you're on the waiting list, it would be a kindness if you could take your name off if you make other plans, and alternatively be on the lookout if you're still available. And one more note about the waiting list: No +1's on the waiting list. If someone drops out of the event, and you have a guest, the system will skip over you for the first single person. So it's better to just sign up separately.
