Blue Heron
Details
In the late 1990s, eight-year-old Sasha and her family relocate to a new home on Vancouver Island, but their fresh start is interrupted by increasingly dangerous behavior from the eldest son, Jeremy. At wit’s end, their parents are presented with a shattering choice. Award-winning director Sophy Romvari’s feature debut is a lyrical and profound testament to the things we carry with us, masterfully chronicling the haze of a languid summer and the hyaline clarity of the moments that defined it.
The reviews of this are very good.
I will try very hard to be there for this one!
Showtime is 2:00 (thanks for the correction!), so I set the start time for the event to be a bit earlier so we can get our tickets and meet each other. If it's nice, maybe come back outside after you get your ticket and we can visit boistrously before the show. Afterwards, it's only going to be about 3:30 or 3:45, so maybe we should consider coffee at Joe Van Gogh instead of one of our usual dinner spots.
