Gaigosai is a unique university festival celebrating cultures from around the world. Enjoy international cuisine, cultural experiences, music, dance, and much more! Many activities showcase the languages and regions that students study, making you feel as though you’re traveling around the globe! ✈️🌎

One of the highlights of Gaigosai is the food stalls featuring dishes from countries and regions around the world. Try delicious international cuisine that you might not usually have the chance to taste, and discover new flavors and food cultures! 😋🍴

There’s plenty to see and experience, including student music and dance performances, as well as Gogeki — theatrical performances presented in the languages students study. Celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures while enjoying the unique atmosphere of Gaigosai! 🎶💃🎭

Gaigosai is a vibrant, international university festival held at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Fuchu, Tokyo! 🌍🎉
One of its biggest attractions is the opportunity to experience cultures, food, music, and dance from countries and regions around the world. Many activities reflect the languages and cultures studied by the students, making you feel as though you’re traveling around the world! 🍜🎶💃
Highlights include food stalls serving dishes from different regions, prepared by students, and theatrical performances called gogeki, in which students perform plays in the languages they study. It’s a unique opportunity to discover international cuisine, arts, and languages at one of Japan’s most internationally minded university festivals!
After arriving at the festival, you are free to explore at your own pace. Since this is a university festival, feel free to ask student staff if you have any questions.
