Wapato Seed Bomb Work Party!

Hosted By

Details
Join us for a morning Wapato seed bomb creation! These "seed bombs" are made of mud mixed with seeds, and help us distribute Wapato throughout wetland sites. Wapato is a PNW native wetland plant that provides important resources to pollinators, amphibians, waterfowl, and more! It is a culturally significant first food to the indigenous communities of our region.
Join us at the Tualatin River NWR Visitor Center for this family friendly work party! We will be starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will wrap up by 11:30 a.m. Advanced registration is requested.
Tools, snacks, gloves, waders, and training will be provided.
