Will be hiking a scenic loop .

This is an early, steady paced Sunday hike designed for people who enjoy getting out before the day begins

The Route and Conditions

• Mix of grassy tracks, gravel forestry roads and narrow stony paths
• Peat moorland near the summit (can be muddy in wet weather)
• Final section includes steeper ascent
• Open views over blessington lake at top weather permitting

Approximately 4-6 hours depending on pace.

Proper Hiking boots required
Bring water and dress for February conditions

This is not a guided commercial hike. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and fitness level. Please only join if you are confident you can complete the route

We will move together and aim to be finished late morning, leaving the rest of Sunday free
