Hi Everyone! Some of you might already know but my father is currently visting from Japan! He's a Yoga Instructor, and while he's visiting he wanted to share some of his recent workshop he has developed! We have secured a location and time (with much, much thanks to David!), Wednesday March 1st, at Dancing in the Streets Dance Studio at 88 W. 38th Street in South Tucson.
The class will be in English, so you don't need to know any Japanese :)

I have included more information about the class below, just know that anyone can come, even if you're not very athletic :)

As a special training exercise, Japanese samurai could easily walk 25 miles a day. Samurai Squat was one of the best exercise among those training.
This is a one-time training session on various “Samurai Squats” which can be easily performed at home in a small amount of time and with great effect on the body we will release the myofascial tightness from the places where you feel stiff, you don’t put a burden on your knees or hip joints. The poses learned in this workshop can work for those who do not usually exercise, and for those who are not in good physical condition.
