Welcome to the Tucson Round Dance Classes! Round dancing, or choreographed ballroom dancing, is a social partner dance where couples perform pre-choreographed ballroom steps to music, guided by a "cuer" who calls out figures as the dance progresses. Dancers move in a circle and perform the same moves at the same time, allowing them to focus on the music and movement rather than memorizing routines or complex leading and following. This approach is simpler and quicker to learn than traditional ballroom, with a fun, relaxed atmosphere that emphasizes social interaction.
