Italian cuisine at Bottega Michaelangelos

Bottega Michelangelos Founders Damiano and Assunta Ali moved from Nardodipace, Italy to Tucson in 1965. They are a family of restaurateurs. The owners’ cousins own Trattoria Pina on N. Swan, Truland Burgers & Greens on N. Oracle, Graze Premium Burgers, and Choice Greens on E. Speedway in Tucson.

The restaurant specializes in Southern Italian comfort food. Dishes with red sauce, spice, and less focus on cream. The desserts are made in house and will tempt you upon entering.

If able to come a bit earlier, we will plan for social time at 6:00 pm in the bar area and get seated for dinner at 6:30 pm. There is a HH menu till 7 pm in addition to their regular menu below, but I couldn’t locate it.
