What we’re about

Tucson Howakai is an intentional community gathering to engage with Shin Buddhist teachings and practices that celebrate gratitude, joy, and a sense of interconnectedness. We are satellite sangha affiliated with the Arizona Buddhist Temple (est. 1933) and offer authentic Jōdo Shinshū services every Sunday afternoon at 2PM followed by a Dharma discussion. We meet in the Library of the Ada Peirce McCormick Building at 1401 East 1st Street.

The time for the Tucson Howakai has changed. We are now going to meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., at the same location, but in the chapel rather than the library.
We will not meet tomorrow, nor again until our next meeting, and the first meeting at the new time, which will be on Wednesday, October 22. Please direct any questions to davidbelcheff@gmail.com .
