OUR PURPOSE
This group exists for people who feel at home in more than one culture — people who enjoy depth, worldliness, and conversation that goes beyond small talk. If that sounds like you, welcome to the Circle.

Tucson International Circle is a social and cultural community for adults who have lived, traveled, or experienced the world beyond English. This is not a language‑learning or linguistic group. Instead, it is a gathering place for people who already speak at least one non‑English language FLUENTLY and enjoy connecting with others who share a global outlook.

Our members are generally 40+, culturally curious, and appreciate meaningful conversation, international perspectives, and refined social experiences. Whether you grew up abroad, lived overseas, or simply carry a multilingual identity, you’ll find a warm, intelligent, and welcoming circle here.

WHAT WE DO
We host elegant, relaxed events at various Tucson venues such as:

International aperitivo and café evenings
Fun dinners and themed nights
Travel Talks and Worldly Conversations at the Table
Occasional language‑specific gatherings (French nights, Italian aperitivos, etc.)
And more Dinner, Drinks & Fun Moments
Of course, English is welcome, but this is not an English‑only environment. We hop between languages and cultures the way others switch playlists.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERION
To maintain the spirit and quality of the group:

• This is not a language‑exchange group - THIS IS A SOCIAL GROUP FOR ADULTS WHO ENJOY LIFE WITH A GLOBAL FLAVOR
• Members must speak one non‑English language fluently (any language - and we'll know if you are indeed fluent😁).
• Events are designed for adults 40+.
• Respectful, open‑minded, culturally aware behavior is expected.
• To preserve a balanced mix of cultures and languages, the organizer may occasionally limit new membership from overrepresented language groups, including Spanish, when necessary.

MEETING ETIQUETTE
Upon arriving at our event, please introduce yourself.
The group organizer asks members to avoid long conversations about political or religious topics.
If you can no longer attend an event due to a change in plans, please update your RSVP at least 48 hours in advance. This group does not appreciate no‑shows, and it is considered impolite not to inform the organizer of any schedule changes.
GUEST POLICY
Our events are reserved for members only. Unless noted otherwise, this group is unable to accommodate guests.
