I won't have time to scout Roosevelt (After one year of not scouting it, you always need to recheck.) so decided to post Ajo again. (Everyone that camped last month is unable to camp this month.) It is a beautiful area and not too far from Tucson or Phoenix area.

If you end up on the wait list, come anyway, as there are lots of spots close by. I will send out a group text the Sunday before the camp, and I will include everyone on the wait list.

Quiet area, very pretty, no bugs, lots of space for most rigs. Access roads good with some dips where you have to go slow, wide road with a bit of washboard in places. Scenic area and scenic road in.

Close to Ajo, a little town with a grocery store, coffee shops, thrift stores and some interesting murals. Hiking nearby, a small historical museum.

Bring bundles of firewood. Save your grey water for putting out the campfire.
