Please update your RSVP and pay fee (and that of your guest) by the Sunday before the event. (No refunds if you cancel.) Canceling after the Sunday prior to the event is considered a last minute cancel.

Check in: 2 PM on Friday, although you can sneak in early, (maybe wait to set up in case they catch you.)

Check out: 12 PM on Sunday morning. Sometimes they let us stay over until Monday, if the spot is not reserved, at no extra charge.

This is a clean, quiet, gated campground that we visit annually, located in Happy Jack, AZ. This is a paid event; pay Tammy Palardy directly (My profile photo is the same as the photo on my Meetup profile), see instructions in the group description. Singles $15, couples $20 for the weekend. Coordinates posted via group text the day before the camp. Payment deadline is May 10 to keep your reservation. My cost was $93.

There is potable water available and vault toilets at this camp. Please bring one bundle of firewood to share.

Description: The Long Valley Work Center Group Campground sits among stately ponderosa pines at an elevation of 6,950 feet offering a cool respite from the summer heat of the valley below. It is also the site of an historic Forest Service work center. The gated campground has picnic tables, grills, and a large fire pit. There are vault toilets. Potable water provided.
