Space Advocacy at the Tucson Festival of Books

Space Advocates! Come help advocate for space exploration and settlement at the Tucson Festival of Books! The Tucson L5 Space Society will also be giving a demonstration of their world-class Oculus Rift virtual reality at the Tucson Festival of Books on March 9 and 10, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day. This is your chance to try out the highly-praised Oculus Rift Virtual Reality System and meet with the current members of the Tucson L5 Space Society! Space tours include: Venus, Mercury, the Sun, Earth and Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Io, Callisto, Ganymede, Europa, Saturn, Titan, and Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko. We may also have the Apollo 11 VR Experience. Our booth is located in the "Science of Tomorrow" tent in Science City on the east side of the University of Arizona (grass) mall.
