Join us for a Sunday lunch at Cafe Desta. This beautifully designed restaurant is vegan-friendly and offers many vegan Ethiopian dishes. If you have never had Ethiopian food before, it is an aromatic, richly spiced and savory cuisine. Food is eaten with Injera, a sour fermented pancake-like flatbread with a slightly spongy texture, traditionally made of teff flour. Use the injera to scoop the food with your hands (no utensils unless you request them).
** Note: parking can be a little challenging so allow for time to look for street parking in the area. The restaurant is cozy (i.e. smaller) and I have seen people lined up during busy times so the meetup time is 11:30 to try and avoid lunch rush. Will try to book a reservation if possible. THIS MEANS you must keep your RSVP up to date, please!!

Address: 758 S Stone Ave, Tucson 85701

Menu & Details: Cafe Desta offers individual Vegan Entrées served with salad and injera bread (injera can be substituted for rice). You can also get larger, shared platters that have more samplings if you don't mind sharing with others who are dipping into the mounds of food with injera :)
