Join us for this fraud prevention presentation for real-life examples of victims who fell prey to various financial scams. There will be a focus on the latest trends including the disturbing use of cryptocurrancy ATM's by scammers. This session will offer technical resources and common-sense advice that can be used to protect yourself, families and friends.

R.O.S.E. Resources/Outreach to Safeguard the Elderly

Brian Watson spent 28 years in Federal Law Enforcement investigating financial crimes as a Special Agent with IRS Criminal Investigation. Brian is now a Community Outreach Specialist for the non-profit R.O.S.E. Resources/Outreach to Safeguard the Elderly. Brian’s passion is public outreach and working with media and law enforcement partners to warn people about the perils of being scammed. Brian is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Arizona where he teaches a course titled White Collar Crime.
