Books on a Theme - January's theme is Food and Culture
Details
This month's theme is food and culture and food history who doesn't love talking about food? Abby has volunteered to host a potluck at her house (address will be provided to those who RSVP but for general idea, she is around Kolb/I-10). If you're up to it, bring a dish inspired by or from a recipe in the book you read! We can post in the discussion who wants to bring what items to eat or drink or snack on.
Pick one of these books to read and discuss! It's a long list - there are so many interesting ones out there. If you're motivated to read more than one, go for it! If you want to read or discuss a different book not listed here on the theme, feel free to share that book with the group. If you don't have time to read any of the books, but want to listen and/or partake in the discussion anyway, feel free!
