Books on a Theme - February's theme is Anti-Romance!
Details
Hi all, keep an eye on the comments because I don't know what my work schedule will be until late January so the time might change slightly. My intention is to meet at Sunshine Wine but may end up switching back to Casa Video if we have a ton of RSVPs because Sunshine Wine requires a reservation for 6+ people. It's on Broadway and has small bites and also mocktails in addition to wine, spirits and beer.
Book Club where we will read from a choice of books that cover a different theme each month. This month's theme is Anti-Romance since February is when Valentine's Day takes place. If you're feeling soured or cynical about the idea of romantic love, or enjoy reading about dysfunctional relationships, this will be fun!
Pick one of these books to read and discuss! If you're motivated to read more than one, go for it! If you want to read or discuss a different book not listed here on the theme, feel free to share that book with the group. If you don't have time to read any of the books, but want to listen and/or partake in the discussion anyway, feel free!
