Retro Field Trips: Fire Station Tour (for adults)

Field trips are just for kids? Never!!! We’re heading Downtown to Fire Station 1, which has a hint of the historic neighborhood where it resides. After entering the Fire Fighter’s Memorial Plaza, we’ll explore the Tucson Fire Department History Museum. There are restored apparatus, firefighting equipment, and memorabilia displays.
Every good field trip deserves a grande finale! After the tour, we’ll head to a nearby raspado shop, the location to be announced, to buy traditional Mexican shaved ices, topped with fruit syrups and sweet or savory toppings. PARKING
A limited amount of free visitor parking is next to Fire Station 1. (See a map in the Meetup photo section.) Carpooling is recommended!
