Tanque Verde Ridge Trail 2 Juniper Basin Campground

We’ll meet at Saguaro National Park East Tanque Verde Ridge TH. We’ll hike up the trail approximately 7 miles to Juniper Basin Campground, take a break and return via the same route. This will be an out and back hike. The trail is a steep steady climb for about 5 miles then drops down into a basin then climbs again into the campground. The trail has great views looking over the Rincon basin area, the return trip shows wonderful views looking west over Tucson area.

This will be a strenuous hike, not for beginners or intermediate hikers.
