From the East:
Take Kinney Road past Saguaro NP west visitor center. Then take a right on Hohokam Road (https://goo.gl/Hy19FV) and then follow the signage to Sendero Esperanza trail head (https://goo.gl/V13eSL).

Let's see if we can spot some wildflowers!
I have never been on this section of the Sendero Esperanza Trail and I am looking forward to it.
Based on the terrain map above it looks like we will start at 2900' elevation with an open desert wander leading to a moderate ascent then a switch back climb up to the ridge line and the Hugh Norris Trail.
We will now be at 3600' elevation.
Here we will wander the Hugh Norris trail for a bit and then select a place to stop for snack and take in the view before returning back to the trail head.
