Christmas in Saguaro East, Douglas Spring

We will meet up with another group, "Hiking Tucson" Meetup with Mike Breiding as Organizer to make a bigger group for a fun social Christmas Day.
(We will operate as 2 groups however. )

Moderate level. Not beginner level.

Arrive at 9:50a.m., Mike tends to leave right on time. (10a.m. sharp)

Drive east on Speedway Boulevard as far as you can. The Douglas Springs Trailhead parking lot dead ends at the very east end of Speedway.

We will start at Douglas Springs then head off to Bridal Wreath Falls for snacks and views.

6 mile round trip.

Moderate not a beginner hike.

Bring plenty of water and snacks.
Hat.
If sunny, sunscreen.

The first part of Douglas Springs has elevation. Bring poles.

( if you are new to desert hiking, it's rocky terrain)

Anybody that still has energy, we will go home and rest and meet at Winterhaven at 7om for the Winterhaven Festival of Lights
