Gnarly hike with a cool payoff (Hard)

This hike starts outside of Sabino Canyon National Recreation Area on a trail that eventually overlooks Bear Canyon. Then we'll leave the trail and bushwhack to the ultimate destination. It's really spectacular. You'll like it. Sorry, but I'm not giving away more than that at this point.

This is a difficult hike, with some slippery spots and brushy, overgrown areas. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT IT UNLESS YOU CAN DO BLACKETT'S RIDGE.

The trailhead is at the north end of Bowes Road, past Sabino High School.

Wear long pants. Hiking poles recommended.
